This company does not follow CDC COVID guidelines and will deny your child care though they meet the requirements for return to care and are cleared by a doctor. Their policy is that CDC guidelines are recommendations and providers decide the rules, so make sure your provider requires a quarantine if you don't want your child exposed to COVID.

We feel so fortunate to have found ITFDC and our provider, Maliheh. Navigating infant and then toddler daycare options as a new parent is daunting. We toured many daycares and had a failed nanny-share experience before learning about ITFDC and visiting Maliheh's home. We immediately witnessed her comfort and capability in providing childcare. Her home is bright, immaculately clean, and organized to facilitate play and learning. Maliheh cared for our first son from 4 months through 2+ years and our second son from 3 months to 2 years. All the while, she pursued additional training and credentials, and participated in both personal and professional development opportunities. She always looks for new ways to improve her skills and to keep things fun, interesting, and safe for the children in her care.

In addition to how amazing Maliheh is, ITFDC was a joy to work with. Over our 4+ years with them, they responded quickly to all inquiries, provided efficient and transparent billing and other administrative requirements, and notably, provided us a direct point of contact for addressing all care-related questions or updates. We received frequent communication throughout the pandemic and clear policies as soon as children were able to return to care.

I can't recommend ITFDC enough, and hope that more kiddos are as lucky as mine to be raised by the second-mom they've had in Maliheh.

We absolutely love the care we've received through ITFDC for our daughter. A neighbor recommended ITFDC, and specifically, Yasmeen Sarwar. We started our daughter with Yasmeen at 10 months old, and she has absolutely flourished under Yasmeen's care over the past 9 months. Yasmeen keeps them engaged by singing, dancing, doing puzzles, and practicing colors, counting, animal sounds, and more! Our daughter comes home and knows new words, and points to and names new objects. It is clear that Yasmeen has the heart of an educator and simply loves children! When we drop off our daughter each day, she gives Yasmeen a running bear hug, and in the afternoon, she always blows kisses good-bye and said "love you" to Yasmeen. She calls Yasmeen "Ms. MeeMee," and Yasmeen has felt like part of our family- we send holiday cards and photos of our weekend adventures. Yasmeen has not only been a blessing as a childcare provider and educator, she is also a joy to talk with during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. We've enjoyed getting to know Yasmeen, her family, and sharing stories. She is an experienced, kind, and humble childcare provider- you should feel confident choosing Yasmeen as your child's childcare provider through ITFDC.

I have had such a wonderful experience with Infant Toddler Family Day Care! All of the staff are so responsive to emails and have excellent, open communication. Our provider, Zakia, is nothing short of amazing. Zakia and her entire family truly love my son, and treat him with the kindness and compassion like he is a member of their own family. She is so patient and sweet with all of the children, and my son loves going over there everyday and even talks about her family on the weekends when he is home! Zakia is very flexible in terms of hours of care, which is so valuable as my work schedule can sometimes be unpredictable. She also does a great job of teaching - my son always comes home with new words in his vocabulary, and seems to be able to count higher and recognize more letters each week. My son has received exceptional care while at Zakia's and I am sad that he can't stay there longer!

I highly recommend ITFDC, particularly nahid hosseinjani! She was fantastic, flexible and really showed genuine love and care for our little boy from when he was an infant to 3 years old. We will miss here terribly now that he's grown and we moved. Between her and the staff at ITFDC, this is a great group of individuals who are looking out for your family's needs!

I highly recommend Saba Haile as a daycare provider with ITFDC. I looked at a number of other childcare options before choosing her to help raise my two kids and I have no regrets. More than anything, I believe young children need consistency and love - both of which Saba provides in abundance. Saba has super human patience and is incredibly engaged with the kids. Of her own initiative, Saba taught my daughter the alphabet and how to count and gave my kids a number of important life skills like putting their dishes away in the dishwasher. Finding someone you can trust with your child can be so challenging but as soon as you meet Saba, you'll realize that she won't just check the box to satisfy their basic needs - she'll help them grow into amazingly smart, hardworking, and caring people.

We've had a great experience with ITFDC so far, especially with our provider Shehzadi. We have been bringing our baby there since he was 4 months old. He is now almost 10 months. Each morning when I drop off my son, he gets a big smile on his face as soon as he sees Shehzadi. She treats him like he is part of her own family. They have formed such a special bond during their time together. Each day is filled with music, outdoor play, and lots of toys. As a first-time parent, we were concerned with leaving our baby in daycare. But Shehzadi has been everything we could have ever hoped for in a provider, and so much more. We know our baby is safe, loved, and having fun when he is with her!

We have used infant and toddler for about 3 years. Both of our children have attended. We are very happy with the services. When our provider is sick, a substitute is offered. Also, I have a lot of comfort that a third party is looking in on our provider. Her house has become like a second home for our children.

We found ITFDC to be a wonderful partnership for our son. The process was easy and well explained. Our provider (daily care) was simply amazing and I even cried when it was time for our son to move on. Highly recommend!

Afrin Hossain was the perfect provider for our almost-4-month-old when I went back to work. We visited her home just a couple weeks before returning to work, and our son was in the middle of a rough patch with acid reflux, it felt like he could cry in pain at any minute. From the way Afrin picked him up and held him and stroked the back of his neck, I could see that she just loved babies, and her heart was in the work. The details could be managed. When our son started with her he'd had a tongue tie release 3-4 weeks prior, and was still transitioning back to a bottle. Afrin was so patient with him and us, and figured out how to encourage him to drink from the bottle. When we pick him up at the end of the day and see the way he watches and smiles at her, I can tell that she's formed a great bond with him during the day even in just these couple months. We've been accepted sooner than expected to daycare at dad's office, and we're so sad to leave her, I don't feel ready!

Our experience with ITFDC has been amazing and we are sad to leave our provider. Our 1 and 2 year old children have grown up in the care of Eva Espinosa in Fairfax through ITFDC and we continually are amazed with how happy and well taken care of our children are each day. Thank you!

Three of my children ages 5, 8 and 10 were receiving Services from child care provider. She provided services for my children up until 10/25/2016 at 2:45pm while I was at work. The days she was used was before and after care, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

The school contacted my emergency contact to say the child care provider came to the school to tell them she will not take my children today and the school said I need an emergency plan to find out where the kids could go especially for my 5 year old.

To rewind back, I first met her on August 29, 2016 when I toured her home to inquire about child care services. The thing that I appreciated the most was it is close to the school where my children attended. Also the hours of agreement was 4:00pm-7:15pm which worked for my work schedule.

I liked what I saw and I asked her what paperwork is needed to start services. She then explained that it would be financially efficient for me to pay $6.25 per hour per child and if I expressed my interest to the agency that I would have to pay more money at the rate of $20.00 per hour for each child.

Considering my income and the work hours, this would bring financial stress on me since it is expensive. She also stated that it is good to pay her directly so the 15% is not deducted by the agency. We both were in agreement and she continued services until there was an "anonymous" complaint from another parent.

Apparently she told the "anonymous" parent that I was not registered through the agency, even though I inquired to obtain this information from the beginning. The agency notified her to discontinue services until I can register.

This was not mentioned until Friday, 10/21/2016 at 7:00pm and she said my children can continue to come, she would have her husband watch the children for 45 minutes until the rest of the children left.

It was like she didn't care. She did not call my cell phone or state the night before that this was going to take place. If I had known, arrangements would have been made.I was terrified especially for my 5 year old because she is too young to be left by herself.

I am disappointed because I was going to register through the agency if she allowed me enough time to do so. Friday night was not enough time to provide the deposit and payment for the first week of services through the agency, plus complete the necessary paperwork.

We found excellent care from our provider Fawzai Ali, who works through Infant Toddler Family Day Care. Fawzai Ali took care of our son and daughter from the time they were infants until they were four years old and we were always happy with her care.

We first came to Fawzai's house when our son was an infant. My son had spent a couple of months in a day care which had good facilities but, frankly, little love. We spent time looking around for a new provider for him, and we could see right away how well our son responded to her kindness, gentleness and energy. Everything in her house was always safe, clean, and orderly, and my son was always well cared for. We could also see that Fawzai maintained toys and activities that would keep our very busy boy engaged as he grew. When our daughter was born, we immediately entrusted Fawzai to her care and were never disappointed. We always knew our children were safe in her care. Fawzai always said that we should consider her like our children's "aunt" and our "sister," and she always proved true to her words.

As our children grew at her house, Fawzai adapted her care and activities, always retaining a loving kindness for our children. As our children became more physically and verbally adept they were able to express their love for Fawzai, too. With hugs and kisses, running around and even the tantrums (cooled off by Fawzai), we could see, too, that our children were clearly at home at their aunt Fawzai's house. Actually, we have to admit: they did not call Fawzai their "aunt," they simply called her "my Fawzai."

We are all deeply grateful for our Fawzai.

My wife and I recently put our child under the care of Fawzai Ali, a provider we found through ITFDC. On the first day of care, we discovered that Fawzai was leaving our 3 month old daughter on a different level of her townhouse than the rest of the children. She openly admitted to us that she would leave our daughter alone on the floor (on a blanket) while she went to a different level of the house to watch the other children.

We contacted ITFDC to ask them whether this was in line with their policies and found out that Fawzai was not supposed to be leaving our child unattended.

When my wife went to pick up our daughter from Fawzai's home, she found her upstairs, away from the other children, screaming and sweating profusely. Fawzai had left her in the sunlight and she was clearly overheated and her skin was pale. She also had gone more than an hour from when she was supposed to eat.

We pulled our daughter out of Fawzai's care immediately and filed a report with ITFDC. We asked ITFDC to follow up with the other parents who use Fawzai to watch their chidren but ITFDC tried to tell us that they didn't want to involve the other parents! Regardless of whether our child was left unattended, or the other children were left unattended, Fawzai was not able to watch all of the children at the same time.

We know others who use ITFDC for this children who are very happy with their providers, but please make sure to do your homework before placing your child under some else's care that you find through ITFDC! We were very fortunate that our daughter was not seriously hurt.
