Myin-home daycare can offer your child the socialization/play of a daycare facility with the personalized attention a nanny could provide. This is because I am only accepting 2 kids in addition to my 16 month old daughter. My philosophy is to keep my ratio low so that each child receives as much attention as possible. <br/> <br/>I will provide home cooked meals with whole foods and a healthy, natural menu free from dyes and preservatives. <br/>Sample Menu Items: <br/>Veggie fried rice- brown rice, peas, carrots, broccoli, egg <br/>Broccoli bits- whole wheat bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, broccoli, egg <br/>Gluten free pancakes or muffins- smashed banana, rolled oats, cinnamon, egg, chia and flax seeds <br/>Scrambled egg muffins- spinach, egg, potato, cheese, coconut oil <br/>Sweet potato mash- sweet potato, plain Greek yogurt, honey <br/>Yogurt parfait- Greek yogurt, rolled oats, fruit, honey or jam, seeds <br/>Oatmeal- cooked oats, banana mash, raisins, seeds <br/>Avocado/banana mash- avocado, banana, seeds <br/>*I am happy to accommodate special diets and needs. Organic ingredients are used as much as possible. <br/> <br/>I will keep the kids busy all day long focusing on hands-on/sensory activities, arts and crafts time, music/dance parties, story adventures, and outdoor exploration. <br/>Sample Activities: <br/>Free play (child-directed exploratory play) <br/>Reading books to each other <br/>Outside time (wagon rides, walks, sidewalk chalk, common ground, park, picnic) <br/>Sensory exploration (water, sand, brown rice cereal, whipped cream, bubbles) <br/>Feeding yourself at meals/snack <br/>Helping clean up toys/wipe off hands and table <br/>Learning (shapes, colors, numbers, animals, letters/sounds, fine motor) <br/>Socialization (problem solving, exploring boundaries, emotional intelligence) <br/>Nap-time <br/>*There is no screen time as part of my program. <br/> <br/>The program will begin June 1st, 2017 - just in time for summer!
