About

I am the mother of two grown children looking to fill my "empty nest" by providing babysitting service in my home. I am looking to provide care mainly for infant and preschool-aged children, though I would consider older children on an case by case basis. I hold a current foster care license, and generally do not take children older than 5 or 6 for fostering, but, I cannot guarantee that will always be the case. I am interested, mainly, in nurturing the children in a family-like atmosphere. I am open to overnight respite care as well. I have a 4 bedroom, 2 story home. A young lady assists me during the day so I may go to appointments with foster children when I have them, and she generally helps me as a "mother's little helper". My hours are flexible. My fee is negotiable. I have not yet applied to the state to receive vouchers, but would consider this as an option. I attempt to maintain a peaceful, faith-filled atmosphere in my home with mutual love and respect for all. I do maintain a per-diem job during the evenings and weekends as a home-health/hospice nurse.
