2020 and 2021 have been so challenging for many parents, especially those of school-age children. When I really thought about it, I realized that knowing the best ways to support your child's education - pandemic or no pandemic - is not really that easy. Parent-teacher conferences are too short and infrequent, and the information covered at back to school night doesn't cut it. A teacher is not sitting at the kitchen island next to your child as they struggle with their math homework, nightly writing, or whatever causes the stress and battles at home. I want to bridge that gap for you and challenge your status quo. As an elementary teacher with experience in general and special education, I LOVE learning about the brain and the way we think, learn, and grow. I am passionate about teaching, but as a teacher and mom, I'm most interested in how our students learn best-what strategies, environments, and experiences most effectively support their growth.
