Hello, I'm a mom. I made the decision to leave my full time job to stay at home with my daughter when confrontedwith the realities of the childcare options available. We struggled to find the right fit for her needs, and the needs of our family. The decision to stay at home as a full-time care provider has empowered me to offer this service to others seeking an at-home setting for their young ones.<br/><br/>Specializing in infant care up to three years old, we value the importance of the young child's ability to learn through exploration. At Harriot's House, we are inspired by the Young Children's Community philosophy of Maria Montessori as well as imagination and play-based models of learning which allow children to participate collaboratively in daily life activities while honing their fine motor skills.
