Before I began my daycare, I worked at a large corporation for 14 years and was a foster parent with Stanford Home for Children. The difficulty I had finding adequate and stable care for my teenaged special-needs foster daughter caused a great deal of stress and turmoil in both my working world and that at home. I started my daycare because I was not happy with the opportunities afforded to me after I graduated and I wanted to create an avenue of hope for parents of children who find it difficult to find care. I work with children having many challenges; ODD, ADD, ADHD, ASD, ED, youth in foster care, etc.
