I am a former emolyee. And although the caregivers are dedicated. The company itself isnt paying the employees on time.
So if you have a day when a caregiver doesnt show up.its probably cause they havent got paid.
Payday on the 5th i didnt get paid til the 18th . with nothing but excuses from the office girl and no response from the owner charice her self..
Here it is the 10 off december and payday was the 20th of november. So i dont get paid i dont work.
Forced to seek emplyment elsewhere..

Not only did this representative meet my family at the hospital to learn about the specific care needs of my Grandfather, But they also went ahead to his home and did a full safety assessment and waited for the Apria company to bring his hospital bed at no charge. They brought a friendly caregiver ahead of time to get to know my family so that we all felt comfortable .. After all, They were going to be living in at my grandparents home. We wanted someone we could trust. We are still with them and they are the best. We are happy to have found them right here on Care.com

Good Hands in Home Care is a not just a company. It is family oriented care service you can really rely on. I have been their customer for over 3 years. I am the only child of my ailing father. When my Mother passed away a year ago they planned every facet of her memorial. I didn't have to think of a thing. They even prepared the food following the memorial service for our friends and family. I really can't believe some of these reviews. This compnay comes to the hospital with my Dad at NO CHARGE.. Out of a genuine concern they perform duties without being asked. I recommend their services to anyone who really wants the best in care for their loved one.

Worked for this company and their horrible. Went to work and found out i had been replaced without notice. Went on to do a live in for the company and found out i was being paid $100 a day but your working 24 hrs. You have to buy your own food. I was ask to fill out time sheets for Calpers which states im a independent contractor but was told not to fill out my hours, amount charged hourly and total , just sign your name at the bottom . After i read the bottom of the time sheet its states i could be fined or go to jail for putting hours i didnt work and she wanted me to leave the hours work and charges opened and she will fill tgat part in , indidnt trust that so i called Calpers and found out that my pay for 24hr care is $360 a day which is big difference. So if you choose to work for this company be careful their thieves and they dont do criminal background or drug test nor make sure you have the proper trainging

I contacted this company knowing little about the business but knowing I needed to get my grandma full-time care ASAP. I talked on the phone with a lady name Charisse for an hour made an appointment for her to come to my grandmas home to find out more information. Everything sounded great and we decided to have an in-home meeting the following Monday two hours before our appointment she called to cancel and said she would be returning my call very soon with a new appointment. A week went by with nothing so I called myself and she informed me she had been sick which we have all been there so I understood. She said she would call me that day for another appointment nothing another week went by so I called again she informed me that the room that they had supposedly open someone had put a deposit down on it two weeks before my call. I feel like I was getting the runaround and people in this business should be honest from the beginning I wasted three weeks thinking my grandma was going to come in to their house when I could've been searching for another. Their communication skills are weak and I do not feel that they are honest so please be aware when contacting this company for the care of your loved one.

Charise was able to schedule care right away before he was released and matched us with Abbey our very dearest caregiver. I am so thankful and grateful. They are a smaller company, But you won't beat the service!

Amazing care -And I really do mean amazing! When I came to visit my father his house was a wreck, His cats turned the whole house into their litter bed and he had no idea who I was or where the heck his medication was. I called Good Hands in Home Care because they were the local. The Director met us the very SAME DAY and set my father up with a wonderful caregiver. We couldn't be more happier knowing that my Dad is safe even though I am 1,000 miles away!

Good Hands In Home Care is the best agency and team ever! They have been caring for my Veteran Dad for 2 Years. He is a retired physician and has severe Alzheimers. The care and attention to my father is unmatched!

We used this caregiver service for my 95 yr old Pearl Harbor & Korean veteran father's end of life care. The family focus was to honor our father's wishes to stay at home with our mother in the modest house they built over 65 yrs ago. We wanted his final days to be as comfortable & stress free as possible and to lesson the loving burden on our mother. Unfortunately, problems with this company have resulted in major stress and hardship for my elderly mother.
Our father passed away in early Dec 2015. As requested by the company, our family had paid for the month of Dec in advance. Although the company's contract states that refund will be made in the event of death, it has been 5 months since our father's death & the company has failed to refund the $8,740.00 owed. On numerous occasions the company assure us that the refund was forthcoming, several times erroneously stating, "the check is in the mail." They now refuse to respond to any inquiries from our family. In addition to our concern over the hardship this poses for our elderly mom, we feel it is our responsibility to share this information with other vulnerable and elderly individuals and their families.

This is the best company. I feel so lucky to have Agape Love Home Care helping me with my Dad. AJ and his team are a real God send. I can call anytime and will reach them directly. They really care.
