Anwar, holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and holds a childhood development certificate along with other childhood classes such as first aid and CPR training. She is proficient in both English and Arabic.
Her philosophy for teaching young children, revolves around providing not only physical and emotional development, but also building trust and confidence within the child. Anwar Rahman, has a true passion for teaching, nurturing and caring, which has proven successful not only within her family and her four grown successful children, but also through many amazing stories from children she has taught through out the years.

My son has been going to Glen Echo Family Daycare since he was 4 months old, and has been there for over a year. The indoor-outdoor space is wonderful, the facility is impeccably clean, and they provide an incredible loving environment, with plenty of toys and activities to keep the kids engaged! I feel like I got so lucky to have found Anwar and Farah. We all love them, especially my son!

We are so lucky to have found Glen Echo Family Daycare! Anwar and Farah really care about each child, and all of the adults and kids interact like a little family. They organize so many interesting and thoughtful activities that I would never have thought of myself. Indoor and outdoor spaces and all of the toys are amazing.

We love Glen Echo Family Daycare!!! The indoor space is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. It is stocked with all kinds of toys and areas for play. The outdoors is also spacious and immaculately kept. But most importantly: the teachers are incredibly kind, thoughtful and experienced. My son absolutely loves going to daycare and I love it as a mom. I know my son is being well cared for, learning a lot, and doing all sorts of creative activities. I can't recommend this daycare highly enough!

A wonderful place!!!
We love Anwar, Farah and Glen Echo Family Day Care! They provide warm, loving and enriching care. The beautiful facilities are bright and cheerful, with lots of space for indoor and outdoor play. I feel blessed to have found them!

My daughter has been at Glen Echo Family Daycare since she was 3 months old. The best thing about dropping my daughter off at Glen Echo is that I don't have to worry about her during the day! I know that she is being well-cared for. Anwar and Farah are now like family!

THEY ARE THE BEST!
My 2-year-old son enjoys so much his daycare life thank to them. They are giving love to him much more than regular daycare. All rooms and backyard are nice, clean and beautiful. They chose nice and interesting toys for kids, let them do many fun activities. (includes messy ones!)
I cannot thank enough to them, always appreciate :-)

My son (20 months old) has been going here for a little over a year. I could not ask for a more loving and caring place for him to be. He has been hitting all his developmental milestones and looks forward to going each day. Farah and Anwar are great about communicating about the day and they always have fun and different activities for the kids. Everything is very clean and an amazing selection of toys (indoor and out) and books. I cannot say enough positive things! I am so happy to have found them.

We love Glen Echo Family Daycare! Our daughter started here when she was 6 months old, and we are so happy with our experience so far. Anwar and Farrah treat our daughter like family - we know she is having fun there, and is so happy to see them every day at drop off. The facility is clean, organized, and full of great toys. There is a swing set and lots of outdoor activities as well. Overall - a clean, happy, safe, loving environment - we highly recommend!

My daughter (age 2) has been attending Glen Echo Daycare for two months. It is a gorgeous facility run by experienced childcare providers. She has formed loving relationships there and is very happy at pickup. I cannot recommend this facility enough.
