Doreen's Licensed Home Daycare

Hi, my name is Doreen. I have been running a DCFS Licensed Home Daycare for the past 20 years. I have been married for over 25 years, I have a 18 year-old son and a 8-year-old daughter! Having my daycare in River Grove is very convenient for the children's families as I am close to major highways and also the train station. I offer a fun-loving family environment for all the children and an open door to their families. We enjoy doing arts & crafts, daily walks to the park, playing in my fenced yard (weather permitting), circle learning time (books, flash cards, songs), dress-up / free play, a scheduled day full of fun. My house is pet-free and smoke-free. I strive to make the children feel as comfortable in my home as they would be in their own. As a DCFS licensed provider I am CPR & First Aid certified, also certified in other various topics such as proper food handling & SIDS, & I take early childhood classes on-line. My house is up to code with the fire dept as well with the police dept, all furniture & TV's are anchored to the wall. MY house and all the toys are cleaned and disinfected daily. A separate entrance & exit are provided for the day children and their family. Breakfast, lunch & snacks are provided. I am open year round, my hours are 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
$200 per child weekly.
My family and I are very transparent about Covid, everyone in my household has been fully vaccinated except my 8 yr old daughter.
