Cozy Corner Day Care

I have had the pleasure of opening my home to children for 19 years. I have a small daycare/preschool with six smiling faces greeting me each morning. The children in my care range from infant to five years old ( and during summer months some school age children return to help/visit). I am CPR and first aid certified. I am a member of the Contra Costa Child Care Nutrition Program and also a participant in the Child Care Council Fitness Program. I have a back to basics approach and believe in mutual respect between caregiver/parents/children. I help prepare preschoolers for kindergarten with shapes, alphabet, colors, numbers,weather, calendar, finger play, art, dance and more. I have a passion for books and we read no less than six stories a day. We also write our own stories with illustrations. During the winter months we enjoy yoga, baking, fun with play dough, puzzles and board games. We celebrate every holiday and birthday as every person in our group is very important and has much to contribute. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are served.
