We perform an extensive background check and screening process before selecting our dog handlers. Our dog handlers are required to undergo a two week training program with our master dog trainer and they must attend training sessions throughout their employment at City Dog Pack. All of our private, in home dog training sessions are taught by certified master dog trainer and dog behaviorist Miguel Rodriguez. Miguel is the founder of City Dog Pack and he has been working with dogs of all breeds for 14 years. He started off doing volunteer work for animals as a teenager where he began studying dog training and dog behavior. After serving 5 years in the United States Marine Corps, he decided to start his own dog training and dog walking service. Miguel's innovative and fun philosophy of dog training which combines methods of the best dog trainers in the world has helped train and rehabilitate dogs all over NYC. Miguel continues to educate himself by attending dog training seminars and schools all over the country. He is currently attending school to become a bomb and narcotics K9 handler. He is also a dog walker and head instructor for our dog agility program.
