Camille's Childcare

Hi! My name is Camille and I run a small, happy family daycare. My home is well-equipped to care for young children and I would welcome the chance to nurture another little one. He or she would be in a wholesome, accepting environment, ready to learn, grow and develop first friendships. Having raised 8 children of my own, I would love to share the considerable experience I have had handling the needs of children, providing your child with a stimulating, secure, and enriching place to spend their time.

As a home school educator, I love learning opportunities and happily emphasize letter, number and sound, shape recognition, songs and movement in a play-based program. Equally important are the social and emotional skills I can teach your little one as they play, using our small group to learn taking turns, sharing, communication, empathy and problem-solving. I have a calm and cheerful disposition and focus on creating an environment in my home that is calm, structured and welcoming.

For new moms, I would like you to know that I specialize in infant care (I've been called the "baby whisperer") and find great joy in providing abundant attention, patience, cuddling, and play to new babies. I focus on helping babies reach their milestones in a secure, affectionate atmosphere.

My typical day is structured with story time, music time with singing, dancing and song-based games, assisted activities like crafts or building things, consistent nap times and meals, daily outdoor play (weather permitting) and of course, creative free play time.

Although my daycare is licensed for up to 8 children, I prefer to keep it smaller in order to ensure top quality care for the most important little person in your life. I would love to hear from you if my services seem like a fit for your family!
