Alberta and Cheyenne are a unique grandmother & granddaughter childcare team ready to help you with your child care needs. Alberta (better known as Grandma Birdie) has 20 years of experience as a nanny and professional family cook. She is a former ownerof her own successful day care since 1993 and an on-call nanny serving families and the better hotels since 1990. Alberta has excellent day care history and nanny references. Kids love Cheyenne! She is an A student and understands the importance of setting up an educational and fun activity program that interests kids. She is 18 and she will attend college in the evenings in Fall 2011. Cheyenne was raised in Grandma Birdie's Daycare since she was 3 months old. From an early age she was trained to help design and set up activities children love that are geared for adventure. Cheyenne is a great role model to kids and is also a popular family performer (dancer) hired to perform at Public Libraries, Discovery Centers, and Festivals since she was 10 years old. Cheyenne has a special way with children that appeals to kids of all ages. She was requested by parents to accompany Grandma Birdie on nanny assignments since she was 11 years old. Cheyenne became the featured treat kids looked forward to playing with when Grandma Birdie arrives. Together Grandma Birdie & Cheyenne set up field trips that includes Discovery Nature Walks, Museum and Zoo outings, Bike Riding, Baseball Games, Picnics, Movie Day, and Story Time. Never a dull moment with this "Dynamic Duo Ready to help." Together they will see that your home runs smoothly and that your children are well taken care of and entertained. A parent approved program will be designed to your families needs. Parents will receive a daily written report on the events of the day. All outings and activities are parent approved. Many outings are free; others, like museums and theaters, require that parents pay for their children's ticket. Grandma Birdie has a excellent driving record. She also owns a Dodge Caravan with built-in car seats and safety belts. This duo would do best for parents who like the children to go places and do things during the summer. We are capable of caring for up to 3 children, ages 5 and through 14. We charge a flat rate of $80 per day for both us with a minimum of 4 hours, but will stay up to 9 hours for the same flat rate.
