Greetings Parents & Students!
I am a highly energetic, passionate, and dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience helping students improve their academic performance. I have had the pleasure of working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade across all subjects, with a range of cultural backgrounds and various needs of support. My experience includes working with children without and with special needs (including ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Auditory Processing Disorders).
I am Certified as an Academic Coach and Tutor. Additionally, I have a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology, as well as an M.S. in Education and Psychology.
I began tutoring in undergrad helping middle and high school students in literature, writing, research, and history. Since then I have worked in various educational settings in diverse roles. However, over the past five years, I have thrived as an Academic Success Coach for Peak Performance Education (PPE), offering one-on-one in-home and online Academic Coaching. Through this experience, I furthered my teaching skills, by discovering the holistic learning approach, delivering a comprehensive approach to education. Not only focused on one subject but addressing and increasing students' overall performance levels: grades/GPA, work ethic, attitude, foundational skills: (goal setting, time management, study skills) across all subjects. In effect, resulting in a consistent 98% success rate for my students over the previous five years.
As an educator, there is no greater pleasure than for me to see my students overcome their educational challenges. My students consider me to be nurturing, humorous, and enthusiastic, and together look forward to our time with one another. I have experience teaching a variety of subjects. However, my specialty is English, Literature, Writing, History, Study Skills, and Social Science. Additionally, my teaching approach primarily supports middle and high school students. However, I am available to teach Elementary students as well. I offer customized learning plans to meet your child's unique learning styles, a variety of assessment tools, competitive prices, and excellent client service. I provide in-home and online services. However, I am willing to work at another site (public library, coffee shop, etc.), if preferred. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. I highly recommend Kellae! Kellae came to my son's rescue, and we are so grateful for her. My son is a senior and attends Peachtree Ridge High School. He began to experience "senioritis." We needed a someone to that could assist my son and improve his GPA to keep his Basketball and college eligibility status. Kellae was that person! My son can testify to this and is delighted with Kellae's teaching style. My sons has significantly improved in all his classes and his GPA is the highest it has been since Middle School. Kellae has gone as far as to provide my son with mentoring. She also uses real-world concepts to help him master difficult concepts to improve his competence and self-confidence. Since Kellae has been my son's Academic Coach, my son has become motivated, organized, and has passed every test since she came into our life. This more than we could ever dream and expected! Kellae is pleasant, and I highly recommend her to anyone. You will find that above being a teacher, she is devoted, kindhearted, and her compassion demonstrations she is ready to go above and beyond to help students succeed.

Kellae is a lovely lady that nurtures and possess an extraordinary level of patience; she is extremely knowledgeable and very warmhearted; my daughter waits impatiently for her arrival for each session. Our experience with Kellae has been remarkable. She has proven her gift of teaching through her energy and creativeness. She is helping my daughter improve her writing skills by teaching her how to correctly write a thesis, use transitional and descriptive words, and strengthen her research skills.
Also, Kellae is very patient, energetic, and is full of suggestions and is willing to try many different approaches to help understand topics that are difficult. Kellae takes the time to send my daughter helpful resources to aid in my daughters studying beyond our sessions and is sincerely enthusiastic when she makes progress in her studying habits. "Kellae was literally, let me make sure you're hearing me, literally a gift from heaven. Kellae stepped into the madness of our busy and ever-changing life and rescued our daughter from the shame and struggles that come with Dyslexia. Within a mere two weeks, Kellae had identified our daughters strengths and weaknesses, de-shamed her, taught her some amazingly simple strategies (font sizes, black background, etc.) and had her reading perfectly. But the part I was most impressed with was how quickly and deeply our daughter bonded to Kellae. Even though she brought school work with her, our daughter would count the minutes until she would arrive. When we had to unexpectedly postpone a meeting, our daughter was visibly very "bummed" until they were together. Learning became fun for her again and that was far more of a gift than we had ever hoped for.
Another unexpected plus came when we were planning a new path and picking a new school for our daughter. Kellae went home and researched countless schools and put together a list of the top five she recommended. She helped coordinate the paperwork, attended school meetings and went far and above what we could have ever asked of her.
