I feel so fortunate to have found Auntie Penny's! My son started at Auntie Penny's when he was 3 months old, and has now been going for 1 year. It is a warm, caring, safe, and clean environment for the kids. My son is learning so much from Penny, Laura, and the other children. He loves playing and interacting with his friends. My son was breastfed and she was easy to work with giving breast milk, transitioning to solids, and then to whole milk. He is learning new social and developmental skills at this daycare, and is getting individual attention and care. I am so glad we found Auntie Penny!

Loving, reliable, and safe, best describes the environment and unmatched care provided at Auntie Penny's! My child loves it there so much that he asks for Penny and Laura on the weekends. He has made many close friends at daycare. Penny and Laura do a great job with socializing and educating the children.
They are aware of and cherish children's curiosity. They elicit imagination, and appreciation for art, dance, and music and constantly come up with creative ways to teach the group of children new skills.
So if you are looking for a caring environment that will enhance your child's development, then look no further, Auntie Penny's is the best!

I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Aunt Penny.. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended up looking for a new minder for my daughter after her first minder fell ill. I remember visiting lots of different daycares in a panic and always leaving with a heavy heart... until meeting with Penny. It helped that I got a rave review from my gym instructor that sent her son there many a year ago. The first thing that struck me was how organized penny was an how clean she keeps everything. All hard toys used go through the dishwasher every night and soft toys in the washer for example. She decorates her home for every occasion (spring, Valentines, Easter, fall etc ) and tailors crafts and games around it. She has a sixth sense to know when a child is feeling under the weather and coming down with something. She has strict rules in place for when children are sick which is in everyone's best interest. My daughter is now of the age to enjoy Penny's home cooking . This really means that we have one less thing to worry about.
Overall we very happy with the care Penny and Laura provide for our daughter and are really lucky that we can go off to work knowing that our daughter will be taken good care of. More importantly, however, our daughter is really happy there.

My daughter started going to Aunt Penny's just after her second birthday. I had a recommendation from a friend of mine that had two children go to her for care. I went for a visit and was so impressed I cancelled the other appointments that I had at other places. I love walking into her house in the morning and seeing my daughter smile and say good morning to her and Laura. The whole first floor is dedicated to the children and they aren't in a basement which is pretty awesome! She has project/craft time with the kids and they bring something home every day to show us. My daughter has become bloomed socially and has learned so much. I would and always do recommend Penny to everyone that asks me about daycare. I cant say enough nice things about her and Laura :)

LOVE IT! Our 4 month old daughter was in a center and we were not happy. I found Auntie Penny's on this site. She has a squeaky clean record on the state website so I called her and went for a visit. Her house is even more inviting and warm than the pictures show. Very cozy, clean and smelled good. The entire main level is dedicated to children. I saw lots of toys, arts and crafts, decorations and educational materials. She and her helper Laura are simply delightful. Our daughter is happy when we drop her off and when we pick her up. She gives them the biggest smile when she sees them which lets me know they treat her with love. These ladies are the best. My husband and I can go to work knowing our baby is in excellent hands. I'll say it again, LOVE IT!!

My husband and I feel extremely lucky to have found Aunt Penny's daycare, especially since we previously had a negative experience. Once our son started to attend Aunt Penny's day care, we noticed how his social, motor and language skills had improved. Her methods and procedures are geared toward a positive learning experience and our son demonstrates this by always being happy when he is under her care. The best part about sending our son to Aunt Penny's, is that it truly feels like a warm loving home environment. We appreciate all that she does for the children down to the smallest details. Aunt Penny and Laura are extremely professional and although it is a business, it is obvious how much they enjoy being around the children. In our opinion, they're the best!!!

We have had our older daughter in Penny's care for over a year and placed our six month old at Auntie Penny's when I returned to work. We are extremely happy, Penny and Laura are wonderful. Penny has the structure of a daycare center but in a home setting. My two year old is constantly learning new things, shapes, colors, numbers, letters, ect. My husband and I very comfortable leaving our girls with Penny while we are at work. We feel good knowing that for Penny this is not just a business, she truly cares about each of the children.

Finding a child care provider is a bit scary, so I posted on my facebook account asking for any recommendations. I had three replies from people (unrelated to each other) telling me about Penny. My husband and I went to meet with her (after hours), and were surprised and delighted to see this wasn't a typical basement daycare. She kept the children upstairs and part of her everyday life. It was like sending her to my mothers house.
My 4 year old daughter has been going for two years. She is happy, and excited to still go to Aunt Penny's even though she started pre-school this year. I'm already dreading the day when I have to leave. It is the best feeling in the world to walk out that door and know that my child is truly being well taken care of. Penny and Laura are wonderful caregivers and a blessing to our family. I would recommend them to everyone.
