I'm so very grateful to have a large animal vet that will treat cows. We have a small hobby farm that includes a few cows. The vet is kind and compassionate towards large animals and their owners. We aren't in an area that he can travel to, but he was very helpful on the phone.

When we were able to bring our cow down, he was very good about moving her into the chute and working on her.

Would definitely recommend this vet if you have farm animals and are in his area. The receptionist is wonderful, and so was the tech

Absolutely, the most un compassionate experience I've ever had. We had a 2 year old female German Shepherd that had what May have been a massive heart attack. We called west mountain veterinary clinic in Payson. They told us the Doctor wasn't in, and to run her to Payson family veterinarian hospital by Mt. View hospital. On the way there, I realized I was driving right by Arrowhead veterinarian clinic. I ran in and asked the girl for help. She said to me, "we only work on large animals like cows and horses. I told her the dog was in my truck, with my wife doing CPR, can you please help us. She said again, no, we only work on large animals. I practically begged her to get the Vet, but she refused, and said he was busy. In frustration, I asked her if she would like to come watch My dog Die!
If you have an emergency with a "smaller" animal you love, these people have zero compassion. Don't waste the 5 minutes stopping there that may have made a difference!

Sorry you didn't get the help you needed. We have no equipment or medicine to treat a dog. There is absolutely nothing we could have done. The receptionist informed you of that and laying a guilt trip on her is just as un compassionate on your part as you claim it was on ours. You should have just continued on your path to the small animal facility.
