Im sad that this Kindercare has been poorly reviewed. Ive had my kids here for over three years. Not consistently but over time using them for before and after care. And the Summer program. I would say without a doubt all the teacher truly care about the kids. My kids loved it and I have never had a problem with paying for care. Its funny to think to say that all they care about is money, when they are taking care of your kids. You have an agreement on how much care is, how about do your part and pay and they will do their part an take care of your kids. Pretty simple, I think every parent knows childcare is not cheap.

My son went through their private Kindergarten program and is now in 2nd grade ...well in advance in all areas in school Because of this program. Dont be fulled just because other places are shinny and white doesnt mean it is perfect. The last I would say, is I NEVER ever had to worry if my kids were being taken care of here. I always knew they were.

I also LOVE it here. It's always clean, they follow procedures to a T, and I think everyone is super nice. I was pretty apprehensive at first because I'd never had someone take care of my kids before but I know every day my kid is cared for by all the staff.
They also have a curriculum every month- like growing plants, or colors and shapes.
The directors are super hands on and jump in wherever it's needed.
I would recommend it to anyone! I don't understand all the negative reviews.

Definitely a poor run daycare, switch up the policies as they go, never informing the parent about such. So not understand at all how anyone in their right mind would give such a place a good eating. They are definitely concerned about money first, I think the director does a poor job period, and overall just a poor kindercare

If you want to send your kid to a place that only cares about how much money they can collect off you, then this is the perfect fit. The bumps and bruises on your kids are not told to you because the teachers are too busy filling out paperwork to actually be watching our kids, they really dont even know whats happened. The kids are not at all stimulated by their teachers. The toys are old and barely work. Forget the items with batteries those haven't been changed out probably since the center has been open. If you really want to know about this place go sit in the classroom for an hour and observe. Course the teachers that are normally eating chips and candy in front of the kids and telling them they can't have any, will probably be putting on their best act but do this everyday for a week. You'll start to see between the lines. As far as the office staff, you will see their true colors when you forget a payment. The one that probably did drugs most of her teenage years will turn on you in a second, and totally treat your child like a piece of garbage. If your curious about the after school care just stand outside the fence when the kids are outside and listen to how the teachers talk to the kids. ;) I'd look somewhere else if i were you.

Our daughter loves the Holly Street Kindercare. She has been in the center for a year and half since she was two and is now in the preschool class. She can't wait to go everyday, always asking when she gets to go to school and every experience I have had with the current directors and staff has been a good one. All of the staff knew her by name within a month. Her teachers worked with her and us with her potty training when she was in the two year olds class, I think its one reason she caught on quickly, and also with her speech development. I agree about the smell of bleach and it is an older building but it is clean and neat and I would still recommend this Kindercare as a care provider.

We have been pleasantly surprised with this Kindercare. I also saw the negative reports and agree that they don't have a great track record. I looked closer at the Colorado Dept. of Human Services reports (which are available to anyone on the CDHS website) and through my own research have discovered that they have made great strides since they have been under new management. I knew something up with this place because there was not a waiting list to enroll our child when every other decent daycare had up to a year waiting list. We reluctantly gave them a try mostly because we were in a pinch and figured we could switch schools as soon as a spot opened up elsewhere. We haven't looked back since. We are very happy with the teachers and the director and assistant director. The staff is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Our daughter loves her teachers and I can tell that her teachers love taking care of the kiddos. There's usually the same 3 teachers in her class so she doesn't have to get used to a different caregiver everyday. Overall we are very happy with this school. The only negative is that it's kind of an older building, and the place smells like bleach, but we are impressed with the large outdoor play area. I definetly recommend the Holly St. Kindercare if you're looking for a daycare in the Denver area.

I am thoroughly researching childcare centers and what I found supported the previous poster. Please check this news article and cross reference with the Colorado Dept. of Human Services!

From the smell of diapers in the room to the mess on the floor, this place is the worst one I've tried. Bumps and bruises all the time with out explanation. They have numerous reports filed against them and even the health department threaten to close them down. Please do not send your child here.
