Our 2-year-old boy is very active and smart; he loves to run, play with balls, climb, and he can find a way into everything. Our caretaker would be responsible for keeping him entertained and fed and keep a consistent sleep schedule. He sleeps late in the morning, so the early hours would be quiet and it would be helpful if a little light and quiet housekeeping could be done (e. g. sweeping, dishes). He naps for about two hours each afternoon from about 1-3 after lunch. He is still in diapers.
Our 7-year-old daughter is in second grade, and she both very independent after school and very helpful with her brother. She would be arriving home at 3 p.m. each afternoon. The caretaker would primarily supervise play and take care of providing snacks.
We have an old, friendly dog. Caretaker would need to feed and let him outside regularly. Our ideal caregiver: Would be responsible for caring for a 2-year-old boy during the day, including keeping a consistent nap schedule and very light housekeeping, and a 7-year-old girl after school (3-5pm).
I would be in the home recovering from hip surgery, so caretaker needs to be comfortable with my presence and with taking over a child's needs even if he asks for me, as I will be restricted to crutches and resting often in bed. Additional needs include light housekeeping, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my 2-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter. Looking for care Mondays (7:30am-5pm), Tuesdays (7:30am-5pm), Wednesdays (7:30am-5pm), Thursdays (7:30am-5pm), and Fridays (7:30am-5pm).
