Payments \u00a0<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-additional-terms-applicable-to-nbsp-nanny-concierge-nbsp-service-nbsp\">1. <strong>Additional Terms Applicable to&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the general Terms of Use (the \u201cGeneral Terms\u201d)&nbsp;applicable to the Care.com Site and Services, the following Additional Terms and Conditions (the \u201cNanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms\u201d) are provided by Care.com and govern your use of&nbsp;Care.com\u2019s&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service.&nbsp;&nbsp;The General Terms are incorporated&nbsp;herein&nbsp;by reference. Capitalized terms used&nbsp;herein&nbsp;but not otherwise defined shall have the meanings&nbsp;set forth in&nbsp;the General Terms. The General Terms and these&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms are collectively referred to as the Terms. These Terms include the Care.com&nbsp;Privacy Policy, which is incorporated&nbsp;herein. Please read these Terms before using the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service. By using the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service, you hereby&nbsp;represent, warrant, understand, agree&nbsp;to&nbsp;and accept these&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms in their entirety.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you object to anything in these&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms, do not use the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms are subject to change by Care.com at any time.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will&nbsp;notify you&nbsp;about material changes in these&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Terms by sending a notice to the email address registered in your account, or by placing a prominent notice on our Site, so that you can choose whether to continue using&nbsp;the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service. Material changes will go into effect no less than&nbsp;30 days&nbsp;after we&nbsp;notify you. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;upon posting of the updated Terms. You should periodically check&nbsp;www.care.com\/terms&nbsp;for updates. Any use of the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service by you after the effective date of any changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-description-of-nbsp-nanny-concierge-nbsp-service-nbsp\">2. <strong>Description of&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Care.com offers a&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service through which eligible Care Seekers may, at their discretion,&nbsp;obtain certain consultative services from a Care Specialist (a \u201cSpecialist\u201d).&nbsp;&nbsp;These services include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 30-minute consultation with a Specialist to assess the Care Seeker\u2019s and&nbsp;assist&nbsp;with&nbsp;posting a job for caregiving services on the Care.com platform;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>initial reviews&nbsp;of applications to the&nbsp;posted job&nbsp;for relevance to the posted job requirements and, as&nbsp;appropriate, reviews of relevant caregiver profiles;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>searches for other potentially relevant caregivers&nbsp;based on their Care.com profiles within reasonable proximity to the Care Seeker,&nbsp;and,&nbsp;as&nbsp;appropriate, initial communication with such caregivers on behalf of the Care Seeker;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preparation of a&nbsp;list of potentially relevant caregivers&nbsp;who have either applied to the posted job or who have&nbsp;relevant caregiver profiles and have&nbsp;indicated&nbsp;interest in the posted job;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>assistance&nbsp;with&nbsp;requesting and ordering an Enhanced or&nbsp;Enhanced+MVR&nbsp;Background Check on the Care Seeker\u2019s chosen candidate through the Site; and&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>such&nbsp;other services as Care.com&nbsp;may&nbsp;from time to&nbsp;time&nbsp;choose to&nbsp;offer in&nbsp;its discretion.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-limitations-exclusions-and-disclaimers-nbsp\">3. <strong>Limitations, Exclusions, and Disclaimers<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Care.com may&nbsp;from time to time&nbsp;offer the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service&nbsp;either on its own or as part of a paid subscription.&nbsp;&nbsp;If offered as part of a paid subscription, you understand and agree that you will&nbsp;forfeit any unused&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service benefits at&nbsp;the conclusion of the subscription term, in the event that you cancel your subscription or close your Care.com account, or in the event that Care.com terminates your membership and closes your account pursuant to Section 5 of the General Terms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Nanny Concierge service is only suitable for Care Seekers who are looking for typical nanny services for&nbsp;ordinary childcare needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Such services include, by way of&nbsp;example, child supervision, ordinary snack and meal preparation, light&nbsp;housekeeping&nbsp;and picking up.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It is&nbsp;not suitable&nbsp;for finding caregivers for&nbsp;children with&nbsp;special needs,&nbsp;health or&nbsp;medical-related&nbsp;needs,&nbsp;house cleaning or specialized tutoring or educational&nbsp;needs.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information appearing in a&nbsp;candidate&nbsp;summary&nbsp;reflects the Specialist\u2019s understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;the Care Seeker\u2019s needs, as well as the results of any research they may perform for the Care Seeker.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Care Seeker&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;the sole and exclusive&nbsp;decision&nbsp;making&nbsp;authority over which caregivers&nbsp;to interview, screen, and\/or hire&nbsp;at all times.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Care.com does not perform any background or&nbsp;verifications&nbsp;checks or any Preliminary Member Screens on any corporate Care Providers that may appear in a Care Plan, or on any of their officers,&nbsp;employees&nbsp;or agents.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-eligibility-nbsp-to-use-nbsp-nanny-concierge-nbsp-service-nbsp\">4. <strong>Eligibility&nbsp;to use&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service is only available to Care Seekers with active Care.com accounts in good standing&nbsp;who have&nbsp;purchased&nbsp;an eligible Membership.&nbsp;&nbsp;Care Seekers must meet and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;all current requirements for&nbsp;such Membership in Care.com, including&nbsp;without limitation&nbsp;those&nbsp;set forth in&nbsp;Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 of the General Terms.&nbsp;&nbsp;Registered Users who wish to use the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service must meet any verification, vetting, and\/or background check requirements that Care.com may from time to time require.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Care.com reserves the right to remove any Registered User\u2019s access to the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;service&nbsp;at any time, for any reason or no reason.&nbsp;&nbsp;You agree that, in the event Care.com removes your access to the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service, Care.com has the right, but not the obligation, to notify&nbsp;Care Providers with whom you have communicated about&nbsp;your removal and, at its discretion, the reason(s) therefor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-user-responsibilities-nbsp\">5. <strong>User Responsibilities<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service is&nbsp;solely&nbsp;intended for use by Care Seekers to meet legitimate&nbsp;child&nbsp;care&nbsp;needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;It may not be used for commercial, competitive, or other purposes.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users of the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service are solely responsible for interviewing, investigating,&nbsp;requesting&nbsp;background&nbsp;checks&nbsp;and&nbsp;performing&nbsp;reference checks on, and verifying information provided by, any Care Providers&nbsp;or other care-related businesses&nbsp;that we may present to you in a&nbsp;candidate summary&nbsp;or otherwise.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;You&nbsp;are responsible for&nbsp;choosing a Care Provider that meets&nbsp;your&nbsp;and your loved one\u2019s needs. Please visit our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.care.com\/safety-center-p1273.htm\">Safety Center<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.care.com\/safety-center-p1273.htm\">www.care.com\/safety-center-p1273.html<\/a> for information on how to make safer and more informed care decisions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-no-agency-relationship-nbsp\">6. <strong>No Agency Relationship<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Like all Care Providers listed on the Site, any Care Providers who we may present you with via a&nbsp;candidate summary&nbsp;or otherwise through your use of the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service are independent third parties and not&nbsp;employees, agents, or servants of Care.com.&nbsp;&nbsp;All Care Providers are&nbsp;solely responsible for setting their rates and fees, and for&nbsp;preforming services directly for&nbsp;you or your loved ones&nbsp;on any terms and conditions that they may specify. Care.com does not train, manage, supervise, or oversee any services provided by any Care Providers, does not set or recommend their rates&nbsp;or fees, does not guarantee their availability or fitness to perform any of the services they advertise, and assumes no responsibility for their conduct, whether on or offline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&nbsp;are responsible for&nbsp;complying with&nbsp;all applicable laws in connection with&nbsp;your use of any Care Provider services,&nbsp;including but not limited to laws relating to payments, taxes&nbsp;and the use of insurance products or other&nbsp;third-party&nbsp;benefits to pay for such services.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-rules-for-use-of-nbsp-nanny-concierge-nbsp-service-nbsp\">7. <strong>Rules for Use of&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>By using the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service, you agree to the following rules, in addition to the General Terms:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You agree to use the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service only to find Care Providers for bona fide care needs&nbsp;for&nbsp;your dependent children or for other children for whom you may serve as a legal guardian.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You agree not to use the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or obscene purpose, or for any purpose inconsistent with the General Terms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You agree to assume full responsibility for interviewing, vetting, and verifying information provided by&nbsp;Care.com or&nbsp;Care Providers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You agree to let Care.com share your full first and last name, and if you are a Care Seeker, the full address of the job, with the other party upon the Care Provider\u2019s acceptance of a requested booking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You agree to permit Care.com to send you notifications pertaining to your use of the&nbsp;Nanny Concierge&nbsp;Service by email, SMS, phone, and\/or iOS or Android push notification, and you agree to manage the delivery of such notifications via your Account Settings should you no longer with to receive them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-payments-nbsp\">8. <strong>Payments<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You are solely responsible for&nbsp;paying&nbsp;any Care Provider&nbsp;or care-related business&nbsp;you select for&nbsp;services&nbsp;they provide to you or your family.&nbsp;&nbsp;Care.com accepts no responsibility to pay for any&nbsp;interactions with, or&nbsp;services performed by,&nbsp;Care Providers, whether on- or offline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
