We are a Mother-Daughter owned Home Care Agency that has been in business since 1998! This is our passion and we are well aware that for many families, getting home care for a loved one is one of the most difficult decisions they will ever have to make. We also know that the idea of having a stranger in your home can be very uncomfortable, which is why we work hard to make sure the caregiver referral is perfect the first time. We find that when you find someone you like, the fear and anxiety tends to dissipate quickly.
Whether you or a friend or family member is recovering from an illness, needs long term care or is terminal, this decision is often fraught with fear, questions and concern. Our philosophy is one of dedicated commitment to helping Los Angeles families and the community you choose the very best in-home care, focusing on the right match of client and caregiver.
All the caregivers we refer carry their own Professional Liability Insurance AND Occupational Accident Insurance (similar to a workers compensation policy)
Why use a referral agency?
1) We are cost effective. Referral Caregivers often times cost less than employed caregivers.
2) Control. You have complete control over what duties you need your caregiver to perform, what hours and how much you pay. You have the flexibility of making these decisions rather than an employment agency making them for you.
3) The caregivers are oftentimes covered under your homeowner's insurance.

A Better Way took care of my Grandmother who had stage 4 lung cancer. My Grandma could be a difficult person at times and we were worried about how she was going to feel with having a caregiver stay with her in her home. A Better Way matched the perfect caregiver with the right personality to work with my grandma. My Grandma loved her. A better Way are masters at matching the right caregiver with the right person. They really care deeply with the well being of their clients and personally stay in contact through the whole process. I've recommended them to a couple of other friends who said the same thing. We couldn't have found a better company to help with this difficult time.
