My two kids have been at the Playground for a year and a half, and are now 5 and 3. They are both very happy there, and love going to "school". They are fond of their teachers, and it is a well-run, organized place. The only two reasons I'm not giving 5 stars is that 1) there was a lot of provider turnover when we got there. That has since stabilized, at least in my kids rooms. 2) It's an all-play environment. They do some pre-reading and pre-math, and they certainly do LOTS of interesting projects and units... but the place we moved from had the kids doing much more reading and math stuff. That said, a play-based environment is legitimate at these ages, and my kids are thriving in it, and what more could I ask for?
