Care Force Safety Agent - Part Time, Home Based

The Care.com is seeking a remote Safety Agent to join the growing team. As a member of the Care.com team, you'll join a team of hard-working individuals committed to the highest standard of safety. The safety team is responsible for reviewing Safety Alert Cases to ensure the security and safety of the Care.com Community. The position is largely stay at home, but requires the ability to come into the Waltham office for training upon hire and 1-2 times each quarter thereafter. Client Services Manager (East or West Coast)

As a member of Care.com's Workplace Solutions team, the Client Service Manager serves as the primary business contact for Workplace Solutions' clients and is responsible for client satisfaction. The candidate would join a small team responsible for building out the data warehouse and delivering data to end users in a variety of formats. This individual must have experience writing complex SQL and database stored procedures in a relational database environment such as MySQL or Oracle. Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience working with a modern web framework like Rails, Grails, Python or ASP.Net MVC.

  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Experience with MySQL is a plus.

Senior Software Engineer - iOS-Mobile
Waltham, MA

We are looking for an individual with experience designing and developing native iOS (version 5 or 6) applications for iPhone and iPad devices. Experience with software development for the Android platform is a plus. This position will require the candidate to have experience in mobile software design and development using industry standard programming languages and techniques. Additional responsibilities of this position include participating in or leading design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage and functional walkthroughs. The candidate must also have experience using web services, XML, REST, AJAX and other integration technologies. The position also offers the potential to lead junior developers.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on design and development of native applications for the iPhone and iPad platforms.
  • Establish and maintain the software development procedures employed by the team. Experience with scrum and agile development methodologies is a plus.
