I love teaching! There's nothing more exciting to me than sharing knowledge. Generally relaxed and humorous, I enjoy working with young people, and they enjoy working with me because I'm enthusiastic and caring. I've taught 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade writing and literature, have 20 years experience teaching high school English via individualized instruction, and am trained and experienced in working with learning disabilities, attention deficit, and hyperactivity. I can tutor effectively in study skills and test prep, grammar, reading, all kinds of writing, vocabulary, and SAT prep (verbal only, however). My verbal skills scores are in the top 1 percent nationally, and I am a former Mensan.
