With a teaching certificate in TEFL in hand and a great passion for teaching, I focus a substantial amount of energy on fine-tuning every student's needs prior to every session. It is my conviction that teaching should not be done on autopilot. A former Marine and an aerospace engineer, an avid bicyclist, a caring youth-sports coach earlier in life and the proud father of two scholastically-successful division 1A athletes, I find great satisfaction in getting students to unlock their true potential in a relatively low stress environment. Technically, this may be my second career; but in actuality I have been a teacher all my life.
