I have over 18 years of teaching experience and have worked in special education for the same number of years. I have worked with every grade level from elementary through high school. My goal when working with students is to help them feel relaxed and confident. Discovering their interests is the number-one step to creating a partnership. I have worked with numerous students who have given up on school and themselves, but by creating a relationship I have seen them become more positive and turn their academic lives around.
