I voluntarily tutored a fifth grader who had been experiencing trouble in Math. We went over several learning strategies to see how he would retain the knowledge the best. He was receiving F's on his tests before I began tutoring him and had earned a B on the last test I issued him. This experience was extremely rewarding for the both of us. I exercised my patience to help out a child who had felt lost in his class. I would love to get the chance to work with any student who may feel the same as this little boy had. I possess the qualities to be patient and tenacious in my teachings.
