Will your child be ready for kindergarten? This is something many parents worry about. You can be assured that your child will have the skills required when you bring Preschool to You.
Using Reggio Emilia's philosophy in an literature and art based program I can help your child master many of the skills involved in critical school readiness markers. I am currently a private tutor and nanny as well as a former preschool teacher with excellent references from many happy families.
Each session includes:
Story Time Learning- The theme and book selected will be based on your child's own interests and individual needs. Story time is important for language development and retention skills. Letter Recognition, phonics and sign language is also taught at this time.
Arts and Crafts- The art projects compliment the book used during story time. Arts and crafts are used to develop necessary fine motor skills and the ability to follow directions. Handwriting is also practiced at this time.
Pre-Writing or Pre-Math Game- Learning while we play! Games that strengthen handwriting muscles or involve counting sorting and matching are played.
May also include sensory activities, music and motion or dramatic play.
Morning and afternoon sessions are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. All the materials are provided and a fun and healthy snack is available upon request.
Weekday sessions run an hour and 45 minutes.
Saturday sessions are two hours and 45 minutes.
Parents are welcome to enjoy some "me time" or run errands.
Rates are $30 per weekday session and $45 per Saturday session. Additional siblings are only $10 per session.

You may choose to use your free session for evening child care based on availability, (please see qualifications under child care provider profile). Invite a friend to join the fun! All host families receive their child's tutoring at half price.
