I am a retired Reading/Dyslexia Specialist. I earned M. A. and Reading Specialization at UTSA. I received training in Dyslexia testing and teaching at Neuhaus Institute in Houston. I taught elementary grades 4-6 for several years, and then specifically worked with children who had dyslexia and other reading problems. I also taught Developmental Reading at ACCD for eight years. I have helped many students overcome their reading, language, writing and spelling difficulties. I also tutor older/mature students who need help passing TAKS, Accuplacer, etc.
