I have worked with the non-profit after school program, Extend-A-Care for kids. I have experience with all elementary aged children but spent most of my time engaging with pre-k to first grade. My favorite part of the day was homework time because it was here I felt most helpful in being able to introduce and strengthen concepts and skills they were learning in school. I love the inquisitive nature of children and enjoy teaching them new things. I hope to implement a creative tutoring approach that is best suited to the child's learning style all the while having fun!
