Hi! I have worked as a tutor for several years during my college career, for a variety of levels. I have tutored at the college-level, but also for elementary, middle, and high school children. I was a Spanish major in my first degree and have a good understanding of the language, having lived in Spain for one an d a half years. In Spain, I was a live-in nanny for a Spanish family with three children who were learning English, so I have a lot of direct experience with "tutoring" them in the English language. In my first college degree, I was also in charge of the ESL (English as a Second Language) program at my school, and provided lesson plans and also worked as a tutor.

I am willing and able to tutor in a broad variety of subjects, from reading and math to Spanish and science, to name a few. I am a second-degree nursing major now at St. Louis University, and I will graduate in summer 2010.

For a while, I considered going into education instead of nursing, because I really love working with children and I always have a lot of fun tutoring!

I like to spend time with my family and friends, take dance classes and travel. I especially enjoy working with children and caring for other people. I am a volunteer EMT on my First Aid squad at home, and studying to be a nurse now.
