I love working with children with special needs, and currently work as a behavior therapist for children with autism. I have two and a half years experience as an educational instructor in a school for children with special needs. I worked with kids who had learning difficulties due to emotional disturbance and/or a learning disability. Additionally, I have tutored for about three years. I have a BA in Social Sciences and an MA in Counseling and Art Therapy. I feel that my education has provided me with an opportunity to learn about different learning styles, and how to integrate my creative skills into a teaching session to help make the material more accessible, fun, and interesting.
