I have first become a tutor because of my experience in taking TOEFL and SAT exams in high school. At that time, in order to get a decent score, I have studied the exams for months and developed my own test skills. I have also joined a lesson on the exams in a private school. I applied what I have learned about the test during taking them. After I got my test results, I was surprised about how effective my skills can be in getting a good score. Then I joined the private school to teach other students about English and taking exam, and found the joys working with students, who choose to come to my class because they want to improve and learn. Later on, I began my tutor and instructor career. Other than experience in test pre, I also tutored English speakers back in my home country, China, in Chinese language.
