After I graduated with a biology degree, I filled a temporary position, as an elementary music teacher. I really enjoyed my job, and decided that teaching is the career, I would like to pursue. I believe that I have a lot to offer for both elementary, as well as high school students. When I was younger, I dealt with a slight learning disability myself, and I wanted to have somebody there, to help me. I know many different ways of explaining concepts, and have the patience for working with all age groups. I am excited to show students that learning can actually be fun. I can work with students who are struggling at any level, as well as work with students who are trying to go above, and beyond to succeed. I would like the opportunity, to be able to work with students, and show them that even though school might be difficult, college is still attainable, as it was for me.
