I have worked as a writing tutor at the college level and have graduated from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in history (I am now a law student at Hamline University) I spent three years at The College of St. Catherine (now St. Catherine University) working with students from a variety of backgrounds work on all levels of writing. I also worked to improve reading skills both with students who natively spoke English and with ESL and ELL learners. I love the topic of writing and helping others reach their potential. Additionally, I have worked for over five years as a Girl Scout camp counselor and assistant camp director at Camp Roundelay (in northern WI). This position taught me how to work with children of all ages (5-15) in a variety of contexts. I really enjoy the hands on nature of tutoring and experiential learning. Also, I recently spent six months studying Spanish in Buenos Aires and have a practical knowledge of Spanish and would be able to tutor beginning students.
