I am a music teacher and director with 23 years of experience in giving private lessons in drums and in percussion. I've had the opportunity to teach a rhythm class to high school students, as well as teach one on one from toddlers to adults. I've worked with several high school band camps, helping to oversee 30 students at a time. I've been working with a special needs child once a week for seven years. There's been marked improvement in his studies, confidence level, attention span, self discipline and motor skills.

Music can be used to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, improve communication, and promote physical rehabilitation.
