I have taught in both private and public, middle and high schools in Southern California and Japan.

Having taught from all of the most popular classroom textbooks from middle school to college, I have an excellent grasp of the content and goals.

As a teacher and as a tutor I have helped take remedial students from poor grades to academic success, encouraged gifted students to expand their gifts and many students who would have otherwise long before given up on Japanese to continue in their studies to succeed.

In addition to Japanese I have extensive experience tutoring the ISEE, the GRE (I placed in the top 95%), the SAT and study skills and time management.


Patience and compassion gained over years spent in the classroom and side by side tutoring students.

Talent for Japanese! Without that I would not be a good tutor. Talent for teaching makes me a successful ISEE, GRE, Study Skills and Japanese teacher and tutor.
