I've been tutoring for an in-home tutoring company since February of 2008. You are welcome to go through them to hire me, but it will cost more. I have families I've worked for that would be happy to tell you about my work with their children.

I'm happy to tutor in a variety of subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor are reading and math! It's fun to work with children who are struggling because I remember struggling. I hated teachers telling me I should just understand something because that's the way it is. That is not the way it is! Sometimes kids need to be shown another way. Usually there is another way of looking at whatever is difficult for the child.

One of my all time favorite hobbies is reading. Another thing I thoroughly enjoy is working on different educational concepts with my 2 and 3-year-old daughters. It is fun to see them having fun while they are learning.
