As a substitute teacher, I have had the privilege to work with grades 2 through 12 in every subject from one side of the color spectrum to the other. Working with children is so exciting for me because they are always excited to learn. I have found that while teaching children they have taught me so much as well. From elementary school to high school, each day I have taught has been different and rewarding in its own way. My goal as a tutor is to instill a sense of enjoyment in the subject I am tutoring. Some students have a hard time in school because they are either not challenged enough, or because they have nothing to be excited about. Every subject has something to be interested in, it's only a matter of finding that something. That is where I excel and is what I thrive to do. I have found that if you can get a child excited about what they are doing in school, grades and understanding will increase linearly.
