I volunteered to tutor a fourth grade boy. He was struggling with math and English. I assisted him by making him rethink problems and by rephrasing to help him understand the question, not by just giving him answers. I feel I'm a great tutor because I have great grades myself. I excel in English, writing, science, Spanish, history, and certain computer subjects. Helping children learn and expand their knowledge makes me feel like I'm doing a service to my local area. I have my own transportation, and I will gladly drive between Grant's Pass and Medford.
