I've had the pleasure as both a student and professional to tutor and mentor young people.

While I was a freshman at Xavier University I tutored 5th and 6th graders at a nearby elementary school. I helped them with various assignments that included many of the main subjects. I corrected math homework, proof read English assignments, and assisted with science project.
As a Junior I served as President of Xavier's Student Art Organization. Under my leadership, the S.A.O developed dozens of community art projects. Several of these projects combined art and math to create physical activities for the neighborhood children. Through these projects we were able to engage children in learning activities, while keeping them physically active.

Since graduating from Xavier University I've spent 9 years working as a design sculptor for General Motors Design Center. My job is to build physical and digital models for advanced and production design. During my time at GM I've had the opportunity to mentor summer interns. Each summer GM bring college students from around the world to participate in an amazing internship. They work in teams to develop advanced concepts for General Motors. My role as mentor was to assist them in the completion of their projects, teach them how to work in a professional environment, and advise them on their educational and career paths.
I've enjoyed my previous experiences as a tutor and mentor and hope there will be many more in the future.
