I have over two years of experience in teaching young children. I am currently an instructor's assistant at Michigan Technical Academy in Detroit, MI. I serve as the fifth grade IA. I interact in all fifth grade classroom on the campus. I pull out students who are below grade level, and work with them in small group sessions or I may have one-on-one sessions with them also. We work in all the core areas; math, ELA, writing, etc. I enjoy making students BELIEVE, as long as they believe they can all achieve.

My main hobby that I enjoy doing is making learning fun. I like to learn different, fun concepts of learning. Another thing that comes to mind when working with young children is academic games. I would like to reiterate that on the elementary level.
