I am 24 years old, recently graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in communications. I have a year and a half of tuoring experience and am currently tutoring a high school freshman in Algebra. While I am proficient in most subjects kindergarten through 12th grade, my passion and skills fall heavily in math at all levels.

I have a natural desire to teach and have been exercising that desire for many years. I have shadowed in Denver and Jefferson County elementary and high school classrooms to help teachers teach a wide array of subject matter to their students and enjoy teaching the content in both group and individual settings.

For an entire summer, I was a camp coach at Sky Hawks sports camp, a youth summer camp for kids ages 3 to 15 that promotes building life skills through sports. I was promoted for my leadership skills from a camp coach to camp director position within the first two weeks of camp.

I have a passion for working with children and enjoy making learning fun. I am very patient and understand that all children have a different way of learning whether it's visual, auditor, kin-aesthetically, etc. I have a great appreciation for teaching various tools to build the framework of a concept and expanding from there. I am a very open and warm individual who enjoys seeing and being a part of an individual's success. I see knowledge as power and I value spreading your knowledge to all, especially children.

I enjoy and am interested in elementary education, nutrition, health care, wide array of sports and outdoor activity (baseball, soccer, Frisbee, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, etc).
