My first two years as a tutor were spent volunteering at my local elementary school. I helped many children, between the ages of eight and 11, with their homework on a daily basis. I have also been a private tutor for an 8-year-old girl. I helped her with her homework, study skills, and reading comprehension, three days a week after school. Also, during my freshman year of college, I was a member of Jumpstart and worked in a children's center helping preschool-aged children prepare for kindergarten. Although I primarily have only tutored elementary-age students, I am comfortable tutoring people of all ages.
