Profile of Nikki M.

Part-Time, 5 Years of Experience

Hi! I am a skilled, patient, and knowledgeable individual who would love to help out your child with their school work. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and biology, and I concentrated my education in child development. I have excellent math, biology, chemistry, and reading tutoring skills. I have been tutoring children of all ages and achievement levels since I was 16 years old. I started working with middle school students, and through college, I volunteered at a local elementary school helping kids of all ages out. I was also involved in a mentoring program for at-risk high school students. The goal of this program was to improve academic success and increase the chances for these adolescents to obtain a college education. I have also worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and I would feel comfortable helping special needs children. I have experience working with preschool-aged children on early reading and math skill development, as well as working with all ages of elementary and middle school children. I would love to help your child improve their reading and math skills. I also have experience working with high school students in all subjects. I am also qualified to help out with upper level math, biology, and chemistry courses. I am also a very creative individual, and would be able to work with your elementary-aged student with arts and craft projects. I also play the clarinet, so if you were interested in having your child learn music, I could help with that as well. I am enthusiastic about helping your child to succeed academically and would love to meet you and your child.
