I have worked almost entirely as an educator since receiving my master's degree in physics. I teach science and math at most levels from elementary through college. For example, I moved to Baltimore in 2007 to work as a physics editor for educational publishers, and have been an adjunct at both Clarkson and Towson Universities. I currently teach K-12 math online, and have worked in various contexts as an individual math tutor. I have also tutored English and guitar. I love teaching because I'll always be a student. Good teachers cultivate student curiosity and do not simply impose information. Students hold the flashlight while teachers carry extra batteries. Please consult my resume.
