Erin B. - Atlanta Tutor or Private Instructor

Profile of Erin B.

Part-Time, 5 Years of Experience

For more than 5 years I have volunteered and been employed as a mentor, tutor, teacher's assistant, and enrichment camp counselor. No matter the title I always new it best to provide my students with the necessary resources and guidance to continue to learn and grow on their own in my or anyone else's absence. It is not only the materials taught but also the environment in which it is taught. I have been educated in the many forms and ways in which people take in and process information. I promise to do my best to get the best of your growing learner as well.

True knowledge is the basis of all forms education. Simply put, through curiosity and the five senses we all learn about the world around us and who we are, and our roles in life. I enjoy exploring new interest and assisting others in doing the same, especially children. Through the grounding of fundamentals children and adults are able to build upon that and better grasp all sorts of concepts. I believe in the enrichment and learning capabilities if all persons.

I believe in becoming a lifelong learner. I am reminded of a quote by Kathy Davis which states, "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove; but the world maybe different because I was important in the life of a child." This grand journey through life beings early in life and I love being apart of that process.
