I'm an OU Honors Tutorial College History student interested in working as tutor for middle and high school students. I worked as an English tutor for two years in high school for fellow students, and generally enjoy helping others learn.

Primarily, I'd like to be an English tutor, since I have experience in this field. I can help students with study skills, with annotation skills, and with prewriting. Of course, I can help with brainstorming and editing papers although I will under no circumstances do the writing for you. I love to discuss literature, and can work with students to deepen their understanding of characters, plot, and larger themes.

I am also conversant in French, and would be more than happy to tutor first- and second-year students. Having someone to practice speaking with makes all the difference, especially in the first few years of a language. I can also help you figure out the best ways for you to remember conjugations, grammar rules, and figures of speech. Everyone learns differently, but we'll figure out what's best for you!

Finally, I can help students who need guidance with their general study habits. Effective note-taking and time management are things that all students struggle with, but forming good habits leads to better understanding of material, higher confidence, and overall, a better learning experience.
