Hi there! My name is Wilson and I enjoy teaching! I understand how frustrating it can be when certain subjects (math, history, etc.) become difficult to understand. Hi there! My name is Wilson and I enjoy teaching! I understand how frustrating it can be when certain subjects (math, history, etc.) become difficult to understand. I believe there are two reasons why a subject can be difficult to grasp. Either the subject is sparking no interest or the person teaching is not doing a good job. It may sound like a drastic statement but experience has shed some truth. A good teacher can transform a boring subject into a positive and lively learning experience. I strongly believe, educators need to teach in a motivating and empowering fashion. I like to motivate students by providing recognition even though the answer was off by any margin. My approach engages students to freely participate in their learning process. I use lots of examples so that each student can visually understand what is going on. I have a bachelors in Computer Science and a masters in Information Systems Management. I am also an Adjunct Professor who teaches Computer Fundamentals. Therefore, I understand how important education is for all of you. The best way to help you is to have your textbook and notes present during tutoring. I can teach in various levels: elementary, junior high, high school, and college. I currently live in New Jersey but work in New York therefore traveling is not an issue. Since saving money is very important during these tough economic times, let me just say I will work with you in regards to the question, "How much do you charge?" Let's get together and make a change in your education!
