As a relatively long-staying holiday-maker from abroad, I looked for a care giver who could help improve my spoken English and found Vida a compelling candidate. We've been meeting for more than three months now and so I feel confident to write a short review on her. As far as I can tell, Vida really is a competent professional in care providing, not to mention in helping foreigners to learn and practice spoken English. She is a young, ever-smiling person and a serious scholar seeking a graduate degree. Her knowledge of English grammar and usages is admirable. Moreover, her patience, care for people in need and considerateness to others I've witnessed thus far are exactly what she wrote in her short bio. I'm not sure how well she tutors American children because I have no direct experience in that area with her. But, as a 50-something female, I am absolutely sure she is the right ESL tutor not only for young non-native speakers but also for adults who stay in SoCal on business, a long-term trip, or immigration.
