I have taught in and out of schools since 1967. I am licensed to teach grades K-12. I write 2 columns, one for pleasure and one for the Naval crew of a warship in WWII. They are sent to 4 continents of the world. I enjoy teaching. I have a good sense of humor and have been a mom since 1969. I now have 2 special needs teens who are my grandchildren I adopted and am raising. I have Master's work in special education and know American Sign Language fairly well where I could have the needs and ideas understood. I have tutored very easy clients and those who were a challenge and been successful at both. A lot of the success is the student's responsibility.
